Frequently Asked Questions

We do not recommend wearing Sol Glasses over personal glasses, as the eye cameras are located on the lower part of the frame and may be obstructed.

For nearsighted or farsighted users, we offer an optional lens kit. The default kit includes lenses from −3 to −7 diopters in 0.5-diopter steps. Customized kits are also available for farsighted users or users who require lenses outside this range.

Contact lenses, including colored contacts (If pupillary measurement is required, colored contacts are not recommended.), are generally compatible with Sol Glasses. However, hard contact lenses are not recommended because they may affect depth calculation and reduce data accuracy.

Yes, a smartphone is included in the Sol Glasses package. At the moment, we do not offer a glasses-only package.

If you would like to purchase an additional smartphone as a backup device, we recommend choosing the Samsung Galaxy S24. This model has been verified for proper UI display, provides strong SoC performance that meets the requirements of Sol Glasses, and has a suitable form factor to fit easily into the participant's pocket during experiments without interfering with natural movement.

Yes. Sol Glasses can be used as a standalone UVC camera to access the video stream directly.

When using Chronus, the gaze, eye, and event data calculated by Ganzin Aurora technology are exported in unencrypted CSV format. Users can access these files directly and process them with their own tools or analysis workflows.

Data processed by Caelus is also exported in unencrypted CSV format, allowing users to further analyze or integrate the results as needed.
